Bloch's Axis pointe shoe is designed for the serious student and professionals. It features Bloch's amazing Thermomorph technology in the shank and box. Basically it's a heat-activated paste - you heat the shoes with a hairdryer, mold them to your feet, then let them cool down. Voila, broken-in shoes!
Unlike Bloch's moisture-activated pastes, you don't need to shellac your shoes to make them hold their shape - although your feet get hot when dancing, that's not nearly hot enough to affect the paste.
Students report you can make these shoes last longer by putting them in the fridge after every class.
