The Sonata pointe shoe features an amazing new TMT process which allows you to form the shoe to your foot without breaking it in. Sounds incredible, but true!
It's a heat-activated system - you heat the shoe with a hairdryer and mold the arch and box to your needs - and once it cools down, the shoe is "set". The process certainly promises better comfort, and theoretically it should mean your pointe shoes last longer, because you haven't had to break anything down before wearing them.
