If you like the Grishko 2007 pointe shoe but find it too hard to break in, you'll love the Grishko Proflex.  They're made on the same last as the 2007 but are more flexible, thanks to a new kind of resilient cardboard in the shank - virtually no break-in time yet supportive. Unfortunately there's an obvious trade-off, because the shoe doesn't last as long.

The combination of comfort and quietness makes these shoes feel like you're dancing on air - several dancers have commented that if money grew on trees, they'd buy Proflex all the time, but unfortunately they need their shoes to last longer!
