Recently, the Cecilia Kerche pointe shoe company went out of business, but fortunately So Danca has taken over the brand.
These Brazilian shoes are made of natural paste for quietness and flexibility. They're pre-arched with a "memory shank", and don't need a lot of breaking in. Unfortunately with the transition, there have been some changes to the range, and it's not quite clear which models will be retained or whether there will be any changes to the construction.
The Nikiya (formerly Clara) pointe shoes were designed for Greek feet.
The Pas d'Action (formerly Kitri) shoes are made with a square foot in mind.
